What would you recommend for someone who's new to web analytics, after having covered the basics?
Would you recommend spending one hour a day learning about everything there is to know about web analytics, or is it better to choose a few tools and metrics and get really good at those before moving on?

Which method provide the most insights regarding the improvement of the sales funnel (from landing page to conversion)?
Setting up a funnel and analyzing it with Google Analytics: "Goal Flow" can provide great insight about where visitors exit the funnel and which pages can be optimized. What can be done to improve this method or are there better methods to improve the sales funnel?

How would you approach the discussion about 'incorrect' order numbers from WA software compared to backoffice data sources?
Often Web Analytics order numbers differ from other (backoffice) data sources. It is measured differently, resulting in a different truth. Since WA is often the new kid on the block, different WA numbers will be regarded as incorrect. How do you tackle these discussions early before they might continue to shine a negative light on all your WA data?

Unique visitors is a metric from the past
A lot of organisations are using the UV metric, but with the use of more devices per person this metric is skewed more and more. Next to that there's the cookie-privacy discussion that could lead to more cookie removals which will lead to more UV's. In my opinion it's a crappy metric.

Social Media ROI and Multi channel analysis
Are multi-channel and Social Media ROI analysis just fake unnecessary trends that every marketer follows blind, or are they really helpful in understanding and optimizing business?

Do we need site analytics in the future, if we have so much more platforms/devices and information (social media/forum/facebook/etc)?
There is so much information, and so much online activities, why should we use oldfashion website data and try to translate website behavior into grouped customer cycles? Why not focusing on qualitative data which tell us how you're website perform?

What is the best option for the automation of dashboards in excel?
I use Excellent-Analytics to get my data in Excel for creating dashboards etc. But this is only compatible with office 2007 or higher and the dashboards still aren't completely automatic.
